Create a brand identity for Fiftytwo, a Christian-based brand offering minimalist and aesthetically designed paper products targeting Millennials and Gen Z.
Fiftytwo is a Christian-based brand focused on creating simple, aesthetically pleasing paper products designed to help individuals grow in their relationship with Christ. Their mission is to inspire followers of Christ to document and reflect on significant moments in their spiritual journey through journaling and collaging, helping them connect more deeply with their faith in their everyday lives.
The SOLUTion narrative
In researching the current Christian journal market, I found that many products were overly decorated and didn’t embody the simplicity I wanted to bring to the brand. For the logo, I designed a logomark that incorporates five lines representing the five loaves, and two ovals beneath them for the two fish from the passage in Matthew 14. This logomark not only captures the literal symbols, but it also represents the progression of a journal through multiple days, with the Bible subtly beneath it. The design is purposeful and minimal, yet meaningful. To complement this, I chose a bold serif font for the wordmark, ensuring it was impactful and timeless.
